A selection of M&S handbags have been withdrawn from sale over the weekend along with the fishy remarks that frustrated customers had added!
These handbags we’re told, smell of fish.
And there are several handbags at the centre of this fishy scare – shoulder bags, clutch bags and shopping bags – all are accused of leaving a nasty whiff in the nostrils.
One woman said: ‘The bag comes stuffed with paper which smells of fish! I have sprayed the bag with perfume and you can’t smell it unless you put your head in it – thank goodness I don’t do that very often!’
